Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area during the 1960’s, I was able to go to endless galleries and museums. I fell in love with abstract art in paintings and mixed media in many forms. Over the years, I have worked in metal, glass and clay.
As I go through my days, I see art everywhere and draw from that inspiration. With my current collection, I see an abstract puzzle develop. I work from bits and pieces of photos, my original work and discarded croppings.
My main focus now is with texture and multi-dimensions. When I left school in the early 1970’s to join the work force, my heart was still in the art world and it has never left.
As an idealistic young man, all that interested me was creating art and exploring the many forms it could take…...
and I’m still doing that.
